Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well and filled with anticipation for the exciting academic year ahead. It is with great that I introduce myself as the Mandarin teacher of the first-grade Mandarin Immersion class at Desert Sage Elementary School.
My name is Qingfang Huo, and I am thrilled to bring over 13 years of experience as a dedicated Chinese language educator to your child's classroom. I hold a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Yunnan University and a Master's degree in ESL from Dallas Baptist University.
My educational journey has taken me on a path of exploring and contributing to language education in diverse settings. Having taught in both Thailand and the United States, I am deeply committed to the field of Mandarin language education. My experiences abroad have enriched my understanding of cultural diversity and have allowed me to tailor my teaching methods to the unique needs of students from various backgrounds.
In addition to my professional experiences, I am also a mother to a three-year-old child. This role has instilled in me boundless patience and a profound appreciation for the importance of fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment for every child. In our classroom, your child will benefit not only from my academic background and teaching experience but also from the warmth and understanding that come from my own experiences as a parent. My teaching philosophy can create an inclusive space where each child feels valued, motivated, and excited to explore the wonders of the Mandarin language.
I am excited to embark on this Mandarin language—learning journey with your child, and I look forward to the growth, discovery, and joy that the upcoming school year holds for each student.
Warm regards,
QingÍang Huo
