Hello and welcome to Mrs. Morrell’s 3rd grade class! I am so thrilled to begin this exciting year with these students! I believe in creating a warm and welcoming classroom where every child feels valued and supported. My goal is to build a strong sense of community, where students feel comfortable taking risks, sharing ideas, and learning from one another. I am passionate about fostering a love of learning and encouraging my students to become lifelong learners. I can't wait to witness their growth and celebrate their successes throughout the year!
I am so happy to welcome you to my classroom! Third grade is a very busy year, filled with lots of fun and learning! I believe that every student has the potential to be successful in every area of life. I utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate a variety of learning styles. Third grade is a pivotal year that helps set the stage for students’ future academic successes and leadership development as they transition into the elementary grades from the primary grades. I am so excited to learn more about your child and your family this school year. This letter is to give you a bit more information about your student’s third-grade teacher! I have been teaching for quite a while now and I love seeing the growth in my students throughout the years of their elementary career. I am married to my husband Casey and I have two boys named Jackson and Hudson. We have a Golden-Doodle named Bentley. I love the Patriots, Padres, and the Diamondbacks, movies, playing sports, and spending time with family. I also have a passion for science. I graduated from Arizona Christian University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Biblical Studies. I am a strong believer in parent-teacher communication and I believe that being on the same page and having open communication will better the students and myself. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to a great year!
