My name is Chinyi Chen. I will be your child’s Mandarin teacher at Desert Sage Elementary School.
My family has five people: my husband, three kids, and myself. We are from Taiwan. We live in Alaska and enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and skiing. Living in Alaska, the Last Frontier, has been a great six years. We are extremely excited to move to Arizona to start a new adventure and meet people here.
I am passionate about teaching Mandarin. I have 9 years of experience as a Mandarin teacher in the U.S. I promote an engaging, interactive, and supportive learning environment where students feel safe and confident in class. However, I can’t do this without your support.
I am pleased to work with your child and support them in their journey to learn Chinese and explore Chinese culture. This will be a great year with your students.
