Mrs. Zeigner

Fifth grade is a pivotal year that helps set the stage for students’ future academic successes and leadership development.  With that in mind, I strive to employ methods to encourage self-reliance, promote independent thinking, and foster a positive, all-encompassing culture of kindness and consideration among my students.  I believe that every student has the potential to be successful in every area of life.  To this end, I utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate a variety of learning styles.  

I graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in Justice Studies and Education, and I’ve always been passionate about helping others and making a positive impact.  Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active with activities like running, biking, and paddle boarding.  I also love spending time with my husband and our two daughters, who remind me daily of the importance of family, laughter, and connection.  

I look forward to working with your child and supporting his/her journey to becoming a confident, thoughtful, and capable student.
