Welcome to Cai Laoshi’s class!
This year we’ll dive into math and science through projects, experiments, and problem-solving while strengthening our Mandarin skills with reading, writing, speaking, and cultural exploration. Together we’ll challenge ourselves as thinkers, collaborators, and leaders—growing in knowledge and confidence in two languages!

My Teaching Philosophy I believe every student can be successful in their own way. In my classroom, I celebrate each child’s progress, whether they are learning their first Mandarin words or exploring big ideas about culture and history. I want learning to be fun, inspiring, and hands-on. My goal is for students to enjoy coming to school, to feel confident in trying new things, and to be curious about the world around them.
