Welcome to kindergarten!
My name is Meiyan (Juliet) Ma, and my students call me Ma Laoshi. I’m so excited to welcome you to our kindergarten class!
This will be my second year at Desert Sage, and I feel so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. Before joining Desert Sage, I spent eight amazing years teaching at Gavilan Peak School, where I built a strong foundation in early childhood education.
A little about me—my husband and I have one son, Esrar, who is now seven years old and starting second grade this year! As a family, we love to travel and explore new places whenever we can.
Kindergarten is such a special year filled with growth, curiosity, and joy. I’m excited to partner with you to support your child’s learning and help them build confidence, independence, and a love for school.
